So I'm thirty now. I don't have any kids. I'm really fit. I have a lot of ideas and ambition for the world.

But all of the people I grew up with are like... dead inside. They are like... totally messed up. Almost all of them are way overweight, and sick. They have MS and psychiatric problems, etcetera. And they all do hardcore drugs and alcohol like its nothing. Their entire social lives are based around television shows, alcohol, and drugs.

It's like... i remember just a few years ago talking to all these people about our plans. We were going to change shit. Do shit. Invent shit. Create shit. Fix shit...

Now? They just get dead drunk and pass out in their vomit and watch 'community' and 'the walking dead' and play fricking video games all day.

Now, don't get me wrong. I love the walking dead. Great show. But video games? Its nuts. Thirty year old men are calling me and talking for hours about some imaginary dude in assassin's creed.

I'm thinking the whole time... what about real life? We should be LIVING these things, not playing it in some video game. That was what I liked about video games when I was a kid. They were exciting because in the back of my mind I was thinking, "this is giving me some cool ideas for when I grow up!" What is fun about playing a video game when you are grown up? Besides the extremely limited social aspect.

So my question is... is everyone #$%^ed up, are just my friends @#$%ed up, or is this just what happens at thirty?
