I don't believe this statement to bare any fact, they would be well paid for doing it for a certain time, in the comfort of their home, however discreetly. Why not make it a family bonding session? I worked at an architecture firm that leased space in a building in my town. The next space over had 20-30 somethings in a school computer lab room layout. All they did was post ideology all day on various sites. They actually had a bed in there, so I think they might have people work late.

The building is owned by some members of a private gentlemen's club. My ex-boss was part owner at one time(in the club). My friend's cousin played a gig there where people dressed up as Planet of the Apes and bet on young males for company. When I started asking about all this stuff is when I got let go.

best is just to not question stuff. for example at the security company i work for, we're supposed to just ignore the naked people who wander through the area. they seem like zombies, or some really drugged out hippies. anyway i ignore them. this is actually the first i've mentioned them in any form.
