Re: Asteroid approach shrank to 14,000 miles this a.m. + NASA says "Astrometry is URGENTLY Needed"
Remember an object's mass increases with it's speed. How fast is the object moving and what is it's estimated stationary mass? The Earth's crust and atmosphere has a negative static charge so what is the object's predominate mineral mass charge: do positive or negative elements make up the greater porportion of its mass? When it spins close by Earth there will be a static discharge if it comes close enough and this discharge will either draw it closer or push it away depending on the objects net polarity charge of negative or positive. Might be the cause of an uptick or decrease in Earthquakes at the least and may affect the weather to some degree.

Other factors to watch may be its speed of rotation, the direction of its rotation in relation to Earth's rotation might increase or decrease its resonate attraction or repelling, the angle of rotation in comparison of Earth's rotation angle, and most important it's wobble frequeny if any. Beware the wobblers and their disharmonic resonate frequencies because they may affect everything in the solar system to the degree and force of theier oscillating frequency strength. That's why mega Earthquakes may make the Sun and other planets act up when it's wobble changes dramatically.

Lastly - NASA will never let on to the public if there was any chance of a possible 'hit' ....(Panic is a situation they would not be able to cope with ). may be one of the reasons they send out that NASA staff and family 'Be Prepared' Video about a year or so ago!!?

I have a theory that gravity is non other than static electrical attraction between opposing predominate element net charges of positive elements outer shells locked with another objects negative outer shell predominate mass net charge. If the speed, direction, static charge from its predominate positive or negative element mass, and planar trajectory in relation to the Earth's planar trajectory around the Sun resonate perfectly an object will be captured. If not than it won't.

AND YET you now claim an increase in distance from the earth of 205 miles
 Quoting: Kimpy2 20290901

No I don't. Learn what significant figures are. NASA's not saying it's 17000 miles exactly on the dot. Please tell me you're not that stupid.
Sorry, your claims don't add up. I watched your entire video this morning. Huge contradictions.

Quit trying to confuse people. Quit trying to attack my video on false premises. People like you are why I will never stop debunking, because people like you need to be put in their place.

NASA's exact prediction of the close approach distance (note these distances are to earth's center, not the surface, subtract a mean radius of 3959 miles):
[link to ssd.jpl.nasa.gov]
Close approach between 17,194.1444 - 17,205.4341 miles. My figure falls into their close approach range, I am not in disagreement with NASA.
 Quoting: Dr. Astro

I'm asking you direct questions. I know what I heard you say in your video! I saw your graphics! You claim an even steeper pass with much less chance of a geosynchronous collision, to the INSIDE (between earth and the toroid of space junk and sats) and you show this in your graphics, which means you are countering NASA's claim of a geosynchronous hazard. ..which means you are claiming an approach closer to earth based on your latest and better astrometry. Please answer my earlier question: why is NASA still, as of their update today, broadcasting "Astrometry URGENTLY Needed" especially since you have all the answers?
You are so insecure! I question you and you call it an attack? Duder, you'd never make it in a classroom!

NASA AND I BOTH SHOW IT PASSING BY AT A DISTANCE OF ABOUT 17205 MILES, THAT IS INSIDE THE ORBITS OF OUR GEOSYNCHRONOUS SATELLITES, WHAT PART OF THAT DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND?! Astrometry is always wanted during close approaches!!!
 Quoting: Dr. Astro

Aww, and now the child resorts to screaming.

I just knew "Dr." Astro would be in here shilling about. He may not be a shill, by definition, but he is certainly a self-glorified know-it-all.

You, sir, have absolutely no factual evidence that this asteroid will not hit earth. Nobody can say that with absolute certainty. Just when I feel like, "man, this guy is actually quite intelligent", you completely contradict yourself with ignorant statements such as this.

Go home Astro, your nonsense is getting old.

Dear Angry Man, don't keep yelling your scientific deterministic head off; not good for you. No one knows, including NASA, how this thing will behave in toto.
"Close flybys of asteroids happen quite frequently," explained Johnson (of NASA's NEOOP), who said more than 20 asteroids have come between the Earth and the Moon in the past year. "But they're usually very small-sized objects - maybe only a few meters in size." --8Feb2013
The only thing NASA and you claim to know is that it cannot possibly hit earth. We have no experience with an NEO this size, yet you are advising that there's nothing to worry about. You are ready for Prime Time! And you're ignoring my concern about a massive electromagnetic discharge/exchange with at least the most vulnerable side of the planet at DA-14's perigee.

If the asteroid found itself engulfed in a plasma cloud/CME/flare, would it heat up and perhaps pick up speed or even alter its path?

Just wondering.

maybe we should stop worrying about asteroids hitting us and take the opurtunity to somehow use these close earth orbit asteroids

Park a satellite / craft on them and let the asteroid carry it around the solar system without excess fuel requirements!

They would only need enough power from battery and solar to maintain electrical function. Sending back all kinds of data on its journey through our system!

fucks this site is going shite, there is zero chance of impact. Next time around it will most likely be closer.

It is 40 meters wide lol once impact with atmos it will break up to around 25 meters.

Will not do much damage unless by some fucking miracle it lands bang in the centre of a city lol.

Landing on the asteroid would be a little like jumping between two rockets traveling at the same velocity parallel to each other.

Would make for some fun calculating for the spaceheadz.

There is no 14 baktun. They probably didn't see that the earth will last another baktun after the last one that ended on the 21 Dec. 2012. That is the reason it was the last baktun in there calendar.
