6.6 SANTA CRUZ
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1546575

usgs says 5.1
 Quoting: DesinzitizedSleepWalker9978

the 6.6 was just 3hrs ago, the 5.1 is more recent.
still that 6.6 is impressive. probably today's big one from santa cruz. it seems to be going in a cycle.

I swear its volcanic. These just have to be strong harmonics. We need more data from down there. Composition of the sea, any animal deaths. This is important info.
I just have an interest in natural disasters and the amazing biosphere that is our planet.

I've been following for a long time as well and I remember the 9.0 off Japan it was a weird feeling.

I checked the global incident map a few times and refreshed and checked a lot of other sources. even on the 8.0 off these islands recently it's been unbelievable how quickly things are continuing..

I do urge all those on coastlines to stay vigilant and be ready with an exit plan. it isn't foolish to be prepared. because if something happened and the info gets out that there may be a large tsunami, the streets will be in gridlock within 15-20 mins.

still not on global incident map..

but seriously people, we've seen more 7-8 mag quakes in the past week than we basically saw of all the last year. these are obviously foreshocks.

if you've been in delusion thinking california will not crack off, now is the time to reconsider.
