I woke up once I realised that my doctor was my biggest drug dealer when I stopped taking addictive prescription drugs I started to ask around what prescription drugs people I knew or knew of were taking, it's amazing the amount of people across a range of classes that are given them! War on drugs! They should start with the NHS first, the uk is a nation of prescription drug addicts and they don't even know it

I go to a "depression and anxiety" group in the area I'm temporarily living. I suffered an unusual amount of large losses in a very shot period. Plus, toss in a couple of health problems, simultaneously.

I go to the meetings because I WON'T TAKE THEIR DAMN MEDS! Bad things happen in life, sometimes all at once and I don't need to run for a pill for answers. I want to use the tools already in my head to work them out.

My point; there's so many people on the "cocktails" of meds you mentioned, and that's what they call them(!), it's absurd. Some are on FIVE different kinds! What's sick is they BELIEVE in them. Even though every week they talk about the side effects and adjusting them up and down and not sure if they're working blah blah they still believe in them because their doctors tell them to. Most of these people have no access to talk therapy. Because psychologists today are pill pushers, only there to shill for the big pharmaceutical companies. Arizona is at the bottom in mental health care. Make an appointment with a psych or therapist and you get an assistant who asks questions off a computer monitor and hands you a prescription. I just don't like this place and NEED to be back at the ocean.

I go to the meetings to learn to cope with loss without the use of medication. Most other's go to share their experiences with dangerous psychotic drugs. They have names for disorders like "bipolar type 2 or 3" or "borderline personality disorder" and bounce back and forth with diagnosis and medications like a table full of ping pong balls.

We're removing ourselves from the natural world. This area on the NW side of Phoenix is ALL strip malls, chain stores, horrible unhealthy chain restaurants, everything looks the same. No music, no art, no gardens, nothing to remind us we're humans. It's a perfect example of what happens when you allow for profit property developers design a community. And then THAT reflects in the emotional condition so many here suffer through.

Honestly sorry to go on here, but your thread struck a nerve for me. I'm 54, grew up in Chicago, spent another good part of my life in Los Angeles but most of my life was in Santa Barbara, Ca. After big city living I experienced what life was like close to nature. Living in the foothills by the ocean I had gardens, sunsets and sunrises, hiking, animals, great, healthy food, just beauty all around me every day. Most of my friends surfed and they have a powerful energy about them, as does anybody who spends their time outside in-sync with nature wherever it is.

From contrast and experience I understand the differences between man-made and natural. People here think the whole world is (horrible) teevee, celebrity, good deals at sales and chain food stores and restaurants, and they're like the walking dead. Filled with their "cocktails" of pills to keep them subservient.

Most people here hate California. I'm either going back there (as soon as Mom, the last member of my family passes) or north to Oregon or Washington. Screw politics, I don't care. I'm going to live the way I want, not feeling "possessed" owned, or like I'm a taxpaying "catatonic" product of huge corporations addicted to meds and whatever's popular in the movies, teevee or the radio. (I spent 14 years working in the film business in Hollywood and KNOW FIRST HAND how the "machine" works to control the masses through methods they're not even aware of, even if they think they are)

Huge apology again for the length of my reply. You're doing what I think Indians would call "truth-speak" and it obviously hit home.

drink as much water and real juices as possible
get as many different naturally occurring vitamins and minerals as possible
BREATHE PROPERLY
sleep on the floor if possible
save your sperm and fluids up (that is how you work with the arts of magic and healing because that is LIFE FORCE)

All of these things keep the programming from getting set and the body kicks into FLAME mode and transmutes itself to something that is a whole being. The body literally expels the possessions. They come out dark and discolored because they are the depths of your blockages

when you start to feel this happening, the people, thoughts and crap will probably leave you alone

that is the truth just comes out of you even if you say nothing.

Low level frequencies are always manipulated by man because his thought is instantaneous from zero source to here (so light can never be measured because how shore is an instant?

But when you are clean the instant light does not go back home because your body can actually host it because it can stay and that is when you find out what you really are and truly go ALL in because you have other option- self-actualization

I have a giant traumatic brain injury. Most of my lower frontal lobe is scar tissue. That is the center for such as reasoning. I test 'superior' on intelligence but it is highly skewed. It is off charts in some areas and normal or below normal in others.
I found that the system wants to misdiagnose you so that they can put you on meds. They are highly destructive.
One of the phrases is...: the patient is 'stabilized'. By this they mean that the patient is incapable of causing trouble because they are turned to a stone.
It is so out of hand where I live that a good portion of 12 year old kids are on anti-depressants. That insures they will not be healthy. The government health workers get advanced according to how many people they put on meds.
The local hospital have discontinued the Narcotics Anonymous meetings because they decided that all people with that problem should be switched to 'legal' methadone or (bad spelling of) suboxen. Now it is hard to get interns to take residency in psychiatry. The usual off hand remark is, "I didn't go to med school to be a drug pusher." Therefore the system give pill power to the lower ranks. And on and on.

I am grateful for threads such as these.

I fucked up my mother's thyroid.

She was prescribed medication that she was on for the rest of her life when her thyroid gave up after giving birth to me. My brave mother still tried to go through another pregnancy afterward and lost that child, her 3rd miscarriage to 5 other healthy birth pregnancies.

To try to counter the weight gain from the thyroid imbalance, she switched to drinking only aspartame sweetened drinks.

She shortly afterward developed narcolepsy for which she as needed, again for the rest of her life, treated with Ritalin. I inherited her predisposition to inverse reactions to such medications.

Around the time I turned 20 or so, she developed neuropathy (guess what aspartame is known to cause). When the Mayo Clinic, after an extension of the standard 2-week reigmen to 3 full weeks, gave her the final report it was easier for them to list the food types she was not allergic to as opposed to those she could not eat. Her neruopathy was so bad at times she had not the strength in her hands to turn the key ignition of her car. Each day, she continued her path regardless. She taught water aerobics for senior citizens. She hosted a support clinic for homosexual men with AIDS. She taught human relations courses at vocational colleges. She was a devout Catholic and faithful wife and mother her entire life.

For the past several years she had made leaps and bounds in maintaining a healthy blood pressure and looked more physically fit than I could recall my entire life.

On August 29th of last year, at the age of 69 with no history of heart disease apart from successfully reversed hypertension (which some research shows can actually be dangerous to do as weakened arteries have not the integrity to resist a collapse upon the hardened cholesterol that is deposited in order to balance the force of the body's usual blood pressure) she began her day like any other and swam 3/4s a mile in the lake. She called my father into the living room in the afternoon when she started feeling pains in her chest. She was removed from life support and declared dead the following morning after I had arrived to meet the rest of my family that was waiting for me to get to the hospital.

She knew when I was 5 years old the path I would lead in life and lovingly pushed me to walk that path as a guide for her at that ripe young age. On my way to the hospital, I prayed that she was waiting for me to guide her through those final steps but it was not meant to be. I was meant to walk into that room and see my mother's dead stare with not a single iota of soul still residing within. I was meant to realize I should not have waited to tell my mother that her baby had been an atheist, but had finally found what he needed to see the light. I should not have waited to thank her for what it took me 28 years to realize.

Now I work, not wait, for the day I can rejoin her. Personally bringing justice against every living soul that has intentionally sold the lies, manipulation, control, and death of pharmaceutical pandering would still not suffice to bring about the level of justice my mother deserves in my opinion.

Thank you, MO. I wish the timing better and my penchant for research be in focus to help your intent more. All I can focus on now, though, is pain to work through and an example of the personal Hells inflicted upon us by some of the monsters of our world.

If it's not of this Earth, it is not medicine for me. Were it not for the medicine of this Earth, I would still be a lost soul. Were it not for the glory of the Lord that gives us all we ever need which flowed through my mother like water through air, I would never have been here to paw this out and plop it into this stinky, confusing, necessary doorway to comfort of a litter box we call home.
