America still does not accept homosexual equal rights as openly gay politicians/government associations are not voted for or assasinated. Rosa parks died in 2005 wich was only eight years ago if you read about her lifetime as Obama himself was elected as the first african president little further during 2008.

I'm not suprised about an Obama Secretary of Defense nominee hating homosexuality and our plea for equal rights including marriage. He was already likened to be nominated in 2012 and he does indeed look like a nazi.
