No way we could develop a system to clean salt water and fill the wells of a state on the coast, that would be to effecient. Lol. 3 years of literally no rain is drought I have not yet witnessed. I'd be hopin for rain to the ecosystem around there must be dwindling

I'm not sure I'd trust water from the GOM after the BP spill, even if they would/could do it.

From talking to alot of old-timers out here, it's happened before, it'll rain again. I grew up on Lake Erie, so I'm impatient.

My tornado shelter is filled with scorpions dont know how they keep getting in it suppose to be sealed air tight so I hope we dont get any tornado soon or we will be getting the shit stung out of us
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 34010713

You might need to get a pest control guy out or see if there are any sprays that will keep them out. Maybe, put out the really big glue traps to catch the ones that are in there? They make some that are open ended boxes with glue on 4 sides. Idk. We don't have them here, thankfully. We tend to get snakes.

Heads up, Rolling Plains and eastward. The dryline is setting up. Once this front hits the moisture off the caprock, it'll get interesting. Looks like it's still on-track for after sunset.

Supercells are like the hornets of the weather in Texas for me. I don't worry about most of the other shit, the heat, the never having any clue as to what the weather will be like during the day even if you watch the news but supercells those things are a bitch in Texas. Saying will never be wrong - its always bigger in Texas.
