I didn't realize it was a battle, but maybe that's the problem with these sort of 'discussions.' So much emotion and energy, it's as if one is fighting for their life and purpose. I get that. I understand faith gives purpose and that's great. It's a difficult belief system to maintain too, so it can become very personal when I didn't mean for it to be...in all sincerity. In a way we're both trying to defend the integrity of what we believe or perceive, and we can come to a common ground there.

Our logic and common sense of the day really points towards a more practical, or scientific approach. I don't think we should get angry or reject everything that comes our way, but I understand why people hold onto their faith and react emotionally to other approaches. I know I have in the past.

I posted and had it 'thrown back at me' ironically. I said, basically, we make an assumption to understand 'God', and he said I'm making an assumption that he's assuming! Touche! You're right on that level. Two wrongs don't make a right, aye aye?



THE LIFE OF A CHRISTIAN is always under "the watchful eyes" of all "non believers" and as soon as a christian falls or "sins" against "his convictions", then the fingers are pointed and "the sin" is "thrown in their face" or "broadcast" far and wide.!!
