There are many opportunities & experiences in life both good and bad for one to choose from, but many things that you experience are not through choice whatsoever.

If there was a meaning to life it would be "to love everything and everyone unconditionally".

By its nature life can not have meaning.

We assign meaning as we see fit-based on environmental factors and genetics--and we always look out from our own rose colored glasses as we assign such meaning.

The purpose of our individual lives is another matter.That changes from person to person. But again what we perceive such purpose to be may not be what it really is.

If you come from a religious bent life not only has no meaning its a waste of time. A schizophrenic deity puts us here to judge us,and that judgement lasts for all eternity based on a few years here... Get real-even mortal parole boards have more compassion than that. He built a universe with 500 billion galaxies,each with 500b stars...and he is pissed someone ate a fruit from a tree?

From a scientific bent--to learn as much as we can,so our offspring can learn even more.The goal is to develop power to change our environment,and to become gods--that they do not believe exist.

To me, the meaning of life, is pure survival. I've analyzed this from different perspectives, for as long as I remember and can't think of it any other way. Survival.
