LOS ANGELES -- Police Chief Charlie Beck on Saturday ordered that the disciplinary case that led to the firing of a former cop, now a fugitive wanted in three slayings, be reopened for a full review.

The move came as search teams spent a third day hunting for Christopher Dorner in snow-covered mountains 100 miles to the east, again without reporting finding recent sign of the fugitive and accused police killer.

Beck said that the department would reopen the case to publicly address complaints made by Dorner in an 11,000 word manifesto he allegedly wrote and posted online declaring war on law enforcement officials and their families.

Of course they wouldn't do it because it was the right thing to do and should have done it years ago?

Yeah, my thoughts. Trying to gain popularity again from local citizens, not because there may be some credibility.

Either way, looks like they are buckling under pressure.

Everything they do is for show. Re-opening his termination case... Searching the mountain where his car was burned. He burned it so it would be found quickly. He is nowhere in the area, but they have to look to appear they are in control.

It is a tactic to draw him out.. they reviewed it heavily with a shrink beforehand and think it may work. Otherwise the current story would remain intact and the staus quo.

They think he is going to move if they do this.. even if it is just to a place to see it on TV.

Yes. I think either they know what they did was wrong with the case, and fearing additional reprecussions from media.....or they are just clearly not in control and trying to show they are.

Do any of you realize what this means? Watch as the ones who are named by Dorner start dying.

A govt sanctioned death squad could be set forth and kill them and pin the blame on Dorner whilst getting rid of witnesses and alleged offending cops.

i heard this on the news on the radio and they said he was re-opening the case and that dorner had complained of racism. that's the mainstream lie. he was mad about fucking corruption. about cops on the take, assault and various other despicable crimes by leos. not racism. what a fucking lie. all msm does is lie. so now they trying to turn this into a race war.
