I doubt he failed the psych-eval. Lots of hate in his heart, but ALL those mo-fo's have that! He just saw their racism, etc., and it bothered him more.

As far as the chief re-opening his termination case, I see no good reason for this, so I have to agree with the poster who said it is to try to draw him out. OR the poster who said it is to regain public support for the pd. Either way, nothing can come of it, hell, the guy has now MURDERED three people! He'll never be a cop again - so what does he really think will come of this move to help him?

The whole thing stinks from top to bottom, and this guy has "volunteered" himself as the pawn to bring this LAPD corruption all out in the open.

He is in a real jam now. Life is over for him.

Pretty much the same thing. Both overrun with minorities involved in a government breeding program who prey on and terrorize the people whose tax dollars support them

My opinion is that the true intent of this operation is to galvanize the black community in LA and elsewhere into a state of violent retribution. First Django, now a "moral" LA cop that is destroyed by a racist police force. The longer this manhunt goes on, the more of a following there will be of it and we will see more indiscriminate violence against any black person that gets in the way of crossfire or mistaken direct fire...

We shall see.

Considering that the LAPD have so far shot 2 hispanic women and a white guy they're not doing a good job of that either...

Who cares if they reopen it or not. Either way the man is guilty as sin of murder and that is enough to tell him he wont be getting his job back. Gosh the guy is stupid if he thought killing people would get him back his job after they reopened his case.

However the scary part is how many other police folks out there would go nuts like this if they got fired?? And do we really want nut cases like this protecting us and our children?? I don't think I want a nut case protecting me, or my kids. And from what we all can tell so far the man is a nut case. Should have been put away years ago if he thinks like this.

By the actions of the L.A.P.D. shooting randomly at innocent people, Dorner is showing them for what they are...

So the LAPD re-opens this internal investigation that resulted in his termination. Maybe they even reverse themselves and decide they were wrong. Then they re-instate the poor bastard. And he's going to come out of hiding and stop killing cops?

I doubt that very much.

If Dorner doesn't get out of the US and get a new Identity someplace, he's going to be hunted down and evenually killed here. I just don't see any other outcome to this tragic situation. Do any of you?

i think just about anybody is capable of a rage killing. i found myself in a situation, that is still on going. i have thoughts of insanity. when a person knows in their hearts that they have been mistreated by their co-workers or peers and harbor that for , in dorner's case, for years, that pain becomes a perfect storm. i harbored mine for 6 months. i think i qualify to feel a little of what dorner's feeling, though i don't approve of his killings. i am so sorry that he didn't try to reconcile with himself before he thought he had to kill.

IIRC they were hispanic, but they were wrongly reported as asian.

In the long run "reopening the case" does no good what so ever. They can't hire him back unless he kills no more people and if he can somehow serve out the three life sentences he is surely to get.

This can of worms is absolutely slimy. I hope the entire department goes down. Reopening the case is a moot point in my opinion.
