So let's think about this -
The asteroid will be approx.17,200 miles at its closest approach. Could it be hit...or redirected...by a missile built by NK or Iran?
Any smart folks on GLP that could figure this out?

So you take that 17200 or 14000 miles distance or whatever and minus the earth radius from centre of earth which is 7926 miles divided by 2 which is 3963 miles. so 17200 - 3963= 13237 miles above our head 14000 - 3963= 10037 miles above our head.
