MI, I am starting to think the same, had a shock earlier, some clients turned up earlier with some iced bun's, thought I would be naughty and have one lol, however it tasted off, just not nice so I assumed it was a dodgy one, anyway a few minutes ago I tried a cookie that one of the ladies that works for us made, guess what, it also tasted rank, awful lol, I looked at the bottom of the cookie and it was nice and shiny, a result of shed loads of butter I guess, what is the taste? Is it that I am not used to that kind of fat anymore?

Was grim, maybe it was just a rubbish iced bun and a rubbish cookie lol.

Indeed, they are even contaminating our beer and wine!! SHOCK HORROR I TELL YOU!!

I would say 'thin air' but they have even contaminated that ffs!!!

It seems this is the only option, use raw ingredients and cook it ourselves.

Slightly off topic (forgive !), but when my son was born in Cornwall, some 20 yrs. ago, I asked the nurses, "what happens to the afterbirth ?" They said that they 'probably ended up in the incinerator'; but as I was insisting on an answer (I had some suspicions.) one of them went off to check. She came back pallid, and said that the afterbirths and abortions were actually 'sold to whoever wants them'. I assumed face creams and Dr.Moreau.. It felt a little strange sitting on a bus with a large bag with 'BIOHAZARD' emblazoned on it, but that's what I did. We had a bonfire, and burnt it, and although we lived on a Cornish farm, so it didn't matter, there was no smell to piss anyone off !
Oh, and checkout 'raw chocolate' for wifey this Valentine's, less likely to have rat's hair/spider's legs in.

haha I have had this happen over the last few months as well...as I cleaned my diet up, I notice that things I used to love to eat taste AWFUL now. I think we start to sense the chemicals in them more so they just do not taste natural. Our bodies (when we treat them right) know what we like/don't like and what is good for us. I no longer crave the sodas or sweets I used to thrive off of!

It seems to be about assumptions, that people in general haven't (hitherto) seemed inclined to have questioned their favourite products. A good friend professionally campaigns on behalf of the anti-GMO lobby, and in spite of furious copy, they have to dress up as cows and pretend to drop dead in supermarkets to try to get their point across; people in general don't seem to want to know something that forces them to change their habits, and seem to usually prefer the sofa option, as I call it. Cell-phones are a good example of this as well. In fact I bet the public are still out buying beef burgers, convinced it's all been sorted, or rather, 'assumed' that it has.

Ha, that's fantastic, tell your friends I think they are brilliant, any youtube vid's of them doing it? I saw the recent vid of the chap dressed up as a horse going into the supermarket screaming "Mommy, Daddy where are you?" Made me laugh! Hmmmm, it seems I experienced this with cheese! But I love cheese! I expect it is a psychological thing of convincing myself that I need that bad fat for energy, I have to be in great shape, and I do suffer without dairy, I guess I am just a newbie! Ps, why don't I taste that awful taste as discussed earlier, when I eat cheese????? Dairy we can not digest and is full of the wrong fats, so why do I not get that same awful taste with dairy? Sorry to be a leech, but I like to learn!

Your not a leech at all! I struggle with dairy as well. I am not full vegan. I know there are ways...but I still find a tough time getting the proteins and fats I need so I still eat **some** dairy. I try to make sure its grass (not grain/wheat) fed.

I also try to eat more goats milk dairy vs. cows milk just because of some great local goat farms in the area that produce some amazing goat cheese, plus I think goat cheese is supposed to be better for you. I don't drink milk (it has always kind of grossed me out) either...

I am eating less and less dairy, but I still splurge every once in a while and put it on sauted veggies or on my spaghetti (vegetarian and gluten free of course!)

Like 'Prolotherapy'. That was a gift incase you have any issues in that area, we have been using it for years in horses with fantastic results, now it is licensed for human practice. Just a heads up is all ;)

Ha, same here! I am lucky, I live in beautiful West Sussex in the UK, a local producer is the Goodwood estate (where the motor racing is) they are REAL organic, they are non profit, I get bit's and bob's from there. Thanks for the heads up on the goats cheese (I thought it was only milk) see!!!!!
