"obviously we're leery that store owners take immediate action" BULLSHIT! I'm "leery" of getting my ass killed while waiting for police to finish their coffee and doughnuts. Paramedics and firemen ALWAYS beat the police in response times.

I've called about gunshots at the end of my alley. 911, Police, NO SHOW! 45 minute wait after my ex wife called 911 when a guy was holding an AK on me and then they act like big shots in control of everything. A whole hour! waiting for them to show after my neighbor was assaulted in front of my apartment and I chased the guy away myself. Obviously THE COPS are leery of us protecting ourselves. (but those things did happen in L.A. and police are real busy there sometimes)

Anyway, those jerks looked like Larry, Moe and Curly trying to get out those doors. Couldn't have filmed it better for a movie.
