I am 40, and thought to be healthy. I am not over weight. I am not a drug user. I did smoke cigs. I did drink on fridays only. I did eat fast food. With most heart issues, you will notice 2 of the last 3 are the major varible in 99% of the MI's. our 40 year old neighbor had a heart attack 5 weeks ago, he lives a "normal" life. |

I listen to the police scanner everyday, and yes there is definitely an increase in heart attacks, strokes, and falls as of late. It could be just because it's winter or something, but I don't remember any winter having this many falls, heart attacks, and strokes being mentioned. It felt like I had no knees. Tinnitus for many years, but recently I've been hearing a beeping tone once in a while in my right ear like morse code. Head pressure behind my eyes. Got rid of cell phone. I read that a 49 year old man had a heart attack on the NYC subway and died. 49 is not that old. One more thing that's new for me is jittery hands. Don't know what that is. I stopped drinking coffee for a week with no result, so went back to it. |

My next step is to stop the bp meds. I also have Tinnitus, screaming at me now, I have my ears cleaned every year, it helps a little. |

I'm giving what I think is called "anecdotal" info (?sp and too tired to look up)....in other words going by the chief complaints of patients coming into the ER. I think he sees about 1500 patients a month or so ..or see's them by way of the PA's.....so that's just what he personally is experiencing.
