He's got a point though.

The governments are not the only ones with eyes on the skies so to speak.

In fact the majority of stuff like comets and whatnot are discovered by amateurs, they're always on the lookout for objects because they get named after whoever spots them first.

Understand that the earth already has a significant orbital
slingshot effect on this little rock, 2012 DA14.

It's very easy to change this ... providing NASA isn't lying
to us now, only to say they "miscalculated" after the strike.

If this asteroid was much bigger, I'd say that the DoD couldn't
nudge it when it was in range of orbital laser platforms.

But 2012 DA14 has an estimated mass of only 130,000 metric tons —-
that’s larger than the gross tonnage of the Costa Concordia
cruise ship. It's really quite a baby asteroid ...

But about two hours of a sustained laser burn on a fixed point
could nudge the asteroid to impact the earth at a fixed point.

You got to pay your taxes what do you expect ,if they warned us too early if at all then noone would pay would they ,i certainly wouldn't , and how do you expect the governments to afford their shelters and fill them with enough food ,water, and stuff for a few years so the elite can survive. We will be warned when a goddamn bit of space rock does a swallow dive right over our friggin' heads .that will be your warning to put your head between your legs and kiss your ass goodbye. .banana2tomatotomatotomato
