There are evil men in any crowd - we cannot judge a movement by just a number of men (or women) who act as evil contrary to the teachings of the movement.
However, the source of evil in Islam is the Queeran. Mo lived what he taught. Mo was a pervert, lived as one and acted as one.
Christ lived what he taught. He is the supreme example. He lived what he taught. Love God and your neighbor as you love your self. Do unto others . . . good deeds, love your enemies.
I do not judge a movement by the acts of evil men doing the opposite of the teachings of the movement. Islam is evil from its inception. Women are cursed under Islam. They are "chattel" for men (equal to farm animals)

Qur'an (2:223) - "Your wives are as a tilth unto you; so approach your tilth when or how ye will..." In Islam a man has dominion over his wives' bodies as he does his land. This verse is overtly sexual. I know all this. I have read the entire Quran, some Hadith, and several history books by islamists. I know it is evil to the core. I frequently recommend sites like "religionofpeace.org" and "answeringislam". And I know the Bible, having studied it continuously for nearly 50 years. Most importantly, I know my Savior. My whole point was simply to say that misogyny is not JUST an islamic problem, it is in "our own house" due to evil, unsaved "preachers". I'm sorry I 5 starred your thread and tried to support you in opposing mistreatment of women, because you're NOT sorry for falsely accusing me and jumping down my throat over your total misunderstanding of what I'm saying. Trust me, I won't be visiting any more of your threads. Thats OK - my threads are not for the thinned skinned anyway.
