It will never happen. It is just some kind of agenda that we do not know the outcome of yet. The threat will lead to some sort of decision that gives the UN more control etc.

All these worldly threats are nothing more then ways to invoke fear into the world so newer and stricter laws can restrict peoples freedoms even more.

Not in this case, if obama, congress and senate even tried to stand aside while a country attacked either japan, taiwan or israel it would mean an immediate removal of anyone in power involved and a temporary military control of the government, it's a part of the constitution that to this day cannot be overcome no matter how hard they try, it would be the equivalent of treason by the us's constitutional protections.

There is also the fact that both the us and russian governments have far more reason to side with japan and taiwan(oil in the south china sea for one), and the simple fact that it would be the easy "get out of debt free" card for the us.

As for japan itself, in a purely land based war, china would probably win, but that is unlikely to happen(for long at least), since japan has nuclear weapons supplied by the us, just like israel, and niether china nor russia's nuclear weapons are even close to the us's in destructive power.

That said, i do think china will start a war, if only on the off gamble that it could work, china cannot survive at it's current rate of growth and it cannot grow it's own food, it will eventually happen, the real question is how bad will it be and what will it be like after it's over.

Th oil would be irrelevant, as that it would eventually be held by China, which would be our trade partner.

as for the responding to defend Japan. How can we don that when we've already engaged in two other simulatneous ward in Iran and Syria, defending our partner Israel? This is all wild speculation, I bet nothing happens at all.

China will attack the USA eventually, on the west coast, and Alaska, meanwhile Russia will attack the east coast. That's the script.

China is currently building 4 aircraft carriers and they won't be done till 2023. So it could be awhile. Meanwhile we'll have regional wars.

China doesn't "trade" oil, it can't afford to, besides it's one of only a few commodities that exist in that area, rare earths for one example.

We aren't technically in those warzones yet, but even if we were, sadly the old "bomb em all" military strategy would be used, as i said no one would "win" a war like this, it would end up with nuclear weapons flying almost immediately, and in all likelihood countries not even involved would be dragged into it pretty quick, australia for instance, would probably be forced into siding against china simply for it's own defense.

Even if for some reason the us didn't use nuclear weapons, the likely scenario in such a situation would be that israel would start using their WMD's when countries trying to take advantage of the situation try to invade israel, india and pakistan are almost always on a flashpoint, and so many other factors that i do not have the time nor the desire to point out are involved in such, if you do not agree with me that's fine, but these are the facts of an attack on either taiwan or japan, and in the end, are likely to happen.

The bible does say that the war that brings about the end of days will be started over a land dispute.

Japan would be 100 point underdogs.
