Filling up the same 39-gallon tank of a Chevrolet Suburban in Venezuela costs $3.51. In Norway it's $394.68. The average cost to fill up fell almost 8 percent worldwide in the last three months. Relief at the pump was not shared equally. A sharp price drop in the U.S. silenced squabbles in the presidential election, while a hike in Brazil meant people had to work 15 percent longer for the same amount of gas [link to www.bloomberg.com] Last Edited by Gonviral on 02/10/2013 08:28 PM |

Roughly 151.5 fluid ounces = Imperial Gallon Our Gallon is 128 fluid ounces, about an 18% difference. Still you pay more, but the numbers are distorted by disparate units of measurement and this is rarely taken into consideration. . . . --- We all breathe the same air |

Just like an abused child--parents beat his ass then child is grateful to the parents when beating stops. All a game for profit. The world is awash in oil, oil is everywhere. USA has plenty of oil but limited refinery capacity--zero new refineries built in over 20 years. These limited refineries are used to control gas supply and thus control price and profit. |

There is NO reason, NO shortage of gas, NO exact dates where there is a "cutover" and they can't sell the previous blend or be allowed to start the summer blend! There is no shortage |
