And the rest of the world for that matter. Although you are in a much better place to survive it all relatively unscathed. It would suck to be unarmed there though, me thinks. |

Quoting: T-Cain After they smear drugs on your car, they beat you up and rob your house. The War on Drugs has been a war on the American people, the result being that the average Joe has come to see police as nothing but out of control puppy shooters. [link to www.stltoday.com] In arguments during the trial, Montgomery County Prosecutor Nicole Volkert said officers had agreed to try a consensual search because they didn't have a search warrant, but when Hunt showed up later, he kicked in a porch door and beat "a helpless, naked man" who was not resisting. The burglary charge stemmed from him going into the home. Sounds like you live in a fun neighborhood: But Sutherland said he agreed with the jurors that Hunt had gone to the scene that night with the intent to get revenge on Alberternst, then "made up facts to make himself look good." He said it was common knowledge that police officers stick together, but in this case officers from four different agencies had testified against Hunt |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 34115184 I know I couldn't do that job without turning into a complete monster. All in all the cops in the US are probably better than most large diverse countries - try getting away with any of that shit in Russia or China - and you would be extremely sorry. There was a time when that was the case. But times have changed. Very few cops in the U.S. have any will to actually help anyone nowadays. To most of them, all the people they encounter on the job are the enemy. They have been conditioned to be that way. And it shows in their actions. The police here have become quite ruthless and heartless. |

anon astro User ID: 1314354 United States 02/11/2013 03:13 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I think the greatest threat to our freedom and safety in this country is the paramilitary police departments who answer to city councils and follow "police procedure" rather than the law or the Constitution. I think the way they are trained to protect themselves is chickenshit and is a dishonor to ever one of them who acts like a coward with a gun. Where we went wrong is when we allowed ourselves to be brainwashed into believing since police have a difficult job protecting the citizenry from lawbreakers (the truth is that the supreme court ruled police have NO obligation to protect the public!), they are somehow special, with special rules allowing different conduct from them and broader range of freedom to act , even when it is clearly in violation of the law. . For instance a police officer drawing his weapon on a citizen who has committed no crime by law is creating a situation where the citizen has the legal right to use lethal force to eliminate the threat, but if the citizen does he is hunted down like a dog, given the 'evil' label "cop killer" by the media as if it is worst than killing a child or an old lady.Invariably he ends up dead, no matter the circumstances of the killing, and is vilified by the press.. IMHO if a police officer gets killed by a citizen the law should apply exactly as if the police officer were anyone else. My guess is the police abuse of power would evaporate pretty quickly, but with a complicit media, judges and prosecutors, we have little chance of equitable enforcement of laws. This is why police officers will be the first to take off their uniform and try to distance themselves from what they were when the TSHTF. Look as south central LA during the riots for the truth, The people CAN overpower the police any time they choose and it is thin rusty wire holding together their control than can be cut any time. Not even a military can subdue the American people with the fact that more than 1 in two adult Americans is armed , most with multiple weapons, and there are an estimated 3 guns for every American in this country. The Chinese have came right out and said invasion of this nation cannot succeed, and they have the largest standing military in the world. We are the single most powerful force for change in the world, and that is why the so called powers that be (international banksters) are doing all of these mass school shooting spy ops and trying to get justification for gun confiscation. It;s pretty obvious, we are a gun oriented culture going back to the formative years of our nation> We won't be as easy as Yugoslavia to subdue by fracturing our nation, and they can only succeed if we fight against each other, and this is why they are trying to divide us along religious, racial and ethnic lines, don't go for it! |

I was pulled over and asked to exit the vehicle, then was handcuffed - not arrested - and put in the back of the squad car while the police officer requested that my wife remove her dress. She did, while I watched from the back of the car. He then came back over to me, uncuffed me, and let me go. No warning, no citation, nothing. Maybe he thought she was ugly? Maybe he thought better of it? I don't know, but it's hard to trust cops now. After watching that video, I'm just glad I didn't try to report him. |
anon astro User ID: 1314354 United States 02/11/2013 03:27 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Are you kidding? These thugs LOVE what they are doing. Without big brother, they are nothing. And then you have the federal government infiltrating and subsidizing local police forces, which in essence makes them an extension of federal control and since the banksters control the government they control our local LEO's as well. Why do you think every cop in town rescinds in under two minutes to a bank robbery but if it's a citizen in trouble they finish their coffee and hamburger before they respond? THEY WANT THE PERP TO GET AWAY, TO REDUCE THE DANGER TO THEMSELVES BECAUSE THEY DON'T GIVE A SHIT ABOUT PROTECTING THE PEOPLE AND THAT IS NOT THEIR MANDATE. A BANK ROBBER IS ROBBING THEIR EMPLOYER, AND ONLY HAS ONE WAY OUT AND THEY CAN JUST GUN HIM DOWN WITH IMPUNITY. This is why during the depression bank robbers became folk heros, because people knew the truth then. That generation is now pretty much gone and the generation gap prevented the passing of knowldge down to the next generation breaking the chain, and it was done intentionally. I listened to my grandfather, carefully. |

Look at the hippies getting arrested en masse in that film. Should they have brought out the ammo clips and begun to open fire on the tyrannical storm troopers? The same for any of the other people who were beaten or murdered in the video. When IS a good time to shoot the cops? I might add that my store was once robbed by men in police uniforms with bullet-proof vests, knowing that we wouldn't shoot cops. After all was said and done, it turned out one of the robbers was actually a cop! His badge and uniform were real! WTF So, if those guns are to mean something, when do you suggest we use them? |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 32617908 I was threatened with arrest when I tried to report a sheriff deputy for committing a felony act of sex abuse against a child that I personally walked up on out on a secluded road while hunting. The only reason I am still alive is because I was carrying a loaded semi automatic rifle. No report was ever taken, and a direct report to the district attorney was ignored. Around 15 years later the same sheriffs deputy was arrested when he molested and tortured another deputies 6 year old daughter, and was convicted of the crime. I suspect had it been my daughter ,the sheriff at the time I reported the crime would have told me to keep my mouth shut or be jailed or worst. I actually had a local city cop tell me if I wanted to remain above ground to keep my mouth shut. That makes them nothing more than a gang of evil Athugs that don't even have the moral level of rules of conduct that street gangs adhered to. |
