I've had exactly one interaction with the police over the past 14 years.

It was a traffic citation for less than $100.

The idiot who wrote the ticket was belligerent while I stayed calm, and indicated on the ticket that he recorded audio of our interaction, as required by department rules (they didn't have video at the time).

When I complained and asked the Ombudsman to listen to this loudmouthed idiot on the recording, I received a letter back saying the pig's "audio device must have malfunctioned" because the audio never recorded.

Sure.

When I went to the preliminary court meeting and brought this up to the ridiculous woman prosecutor, she immediately started making up lies on the spot to try and cover for them. "I think their system was down that day!" What does a system being down have to do with one audio recording device on one cop not working?

Anyways... I type this up to illustrate the following: these fucking pigs will lie, and have their fellow pigs higher up in the system lie, for a traffic ticket of less than $100.

Can you imagine the lengths they would go to in an attempt to frame someone for robbery... rape... murder?

This happened in a medium-sized American city.

It was less than $100, the money isn't important. The principle is what's important.

Every time I see a cop harmed or killed I laugh. Fuck them and their families.
