The prophesy of St Francis of Assini stated that the last pope would not be canonically elected. What does that mean ?
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 907170 Interesting I did not know about that... Well that lines up with my theory that the next leader of the RCC will not be appointed as Pope because of some emergency or something.
Something major is going down soon.
Quoting: Veresanctus How about this theory (from your link)?
...somehow, as unlikely as it may seem, that a Roman Pope (the first beast and false prophet) and a Jew from the tribe of Dan (the second beast and antichrist, Jeremiah 8:16, Rev.7:5-8) will come together as the false prophet and the antichrist, in agreement with each other, and do the bidding of Satan, making up the unholy trinity....
I'm thinking the "last pope" be selected, many dislike the CHOICE of him, and the RCC splits. The "Jew from the tribe of Dan" comes along and proclaims HE is the true leader of the RCC, many follow him....ushering in the tribulation.
Weird, I know! I am not catholic, first of all, BUT trying to understand all these "prophecies." I DO believe in prophecy, and these prophets (St. Francis, and St. Malachy) have been shown to be fairly reliable, so I'm just trying to figure it all out (through HUMAN EYES and reasoning, to be sure).
