Quoting: Anonymous Coward 31271979 I'm not Catholic, so sorry for my ignorance on this matter. I was just wondering if this was misinterpreted. Does it say specifically a man of the black race will rule? Thanks for helping me understand. This is just so interesting to me for some reason. The Jesuit order is sometimes referred to this way, they are "Blackrobes." |

I always assumed the term "black Pope" meant an evil pope and not that he'd literally be a black man. Mind you, they do think the next Pope will be from Africa so maybe it should be taken literally or maybe he'll have black skin and a black heart? |

MAYBE?! he was initiated into the deepest mysteries of the vatican long before he was given the papacy. i don't think this has anything to do with his being "infirm", as what does a pope have to do all day? and it's not like he's got a supervisor looking over his shoulder. this is the equivilent of a national leader going into exile. remember, pope john paul was bedridden and could hardly breathe, yet still gave mass. Anonymous Coward User ID: 26836006 United States 02/11/2013 01:06 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | This is prophecy unfolding though folks. Peter of Rome will be the next and last pope, and during his papacy, we will see cataclysmic changes. Remember the prophecies regarding the pope fleeing Rome, when the comet shine, 2 suns in the sky. End of this year, it will begin. You have been given notice. Stock up, hunker down, and pray, because no one on earth will be able to stop what will begin late this year. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 16489306 The only part you got wrong was the date...Try May 2013 |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 31435329 United States 02/11/2013 01:08 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I am so shocked by this news...and yet, with that: Quoting: Anonymous Coward 34104390 When Pope John Paul died and they elected Benedict, he was old to begin with, so you knew that he wouldn't last very long. My parents are in their mid to late 80's...I see how frail they are and this was just a no-brainer. It's all orchastrated but for what purpose? Who will be the next pope and when? And, interesting that it is now--right before Easter...not an accident. Even last year (as someone else posted) this was being talked about - the current pope stepping down. Still, it's still so shocking because we are seeing so many things (major things) happen in the last 10 years or so. Epic earthquakes, tsunamis, Massive tornadoes, snow storms...9/11...etc. I agree with posters that say something wicked comes this way. I honestly don't think any amount of prepping can prepare us for the doom that's coming. Get right with God. I'm going to ponder all of this while I paint the bathroom! Take care GLP. I cannot emphasis this message enough ^^^^^ GET RIGHT WITH GOD |

As a staunch defender of the Church his immediate personna is one of hard line orthodoxy. He is an opponent of homosexuality, same-sex marriage, euthanasia, and abortion. He would appear well-qualified to be pope of the cloven hoof (Revelation 17:10-11; 13:3-10 and I Thessalonians 5:3). 268 ??? (In extreme persecution, the seat of the Holy Roman Church will be occupied by Peter the Roman, who will feed the sheep through many tribulations, at the term of which the city of seven hills will be destroyed, and the formidable Judge will judge his people. The End.) According to the prophecy of Daniel 9:27 and Revelation 13 and 17:10-18, the last pontiff will be the Devil-incarnate, and he will break Rome's covenant with the Jewish bankers. It seems Malachy made only 111 predictions so that John Paul II's successor, "Gloria Olivae" should be the final pope. It appears the Benedictines devised pope 112 to dissociate their order from the "Beast". There are two versions of St. Malachy’s prophecy: one list included 112 popes the other 111 [link to www.bibliotecapleyades.net] ..and only 111 places to hang portraits of Popes in the galery ANOTHER interesting tidbit: In the link, I pulled this quote: "Interestingly, a very old Italian prophecy reads, "When the White Pope and the Black Pope (Head of the Jesuits or an Anti-Pope) shall die during the same night, then there will dawn upon the Christian nations the Great White Day." MAYBE what it means is that the "Black Pope" is someone with a DARK HEART, not that he's necessary - someone black. |

Quoting: insertfunnyusername Why is this interesting? Date is the same as today for the datetards, and Apocalypse talks a lot about the number 7 related with the beast. For example 17-11: And the beast which lived once and now is dead must be reckoned as the eighth, yet it is one of the seven; now it is to find its way to utter destruction Just brainstorming here, could mean countless of things. This means the new year hasn’t actually started yet. It also means the Mayan end date of the 13th baktun could be on March 1st which is the day after Benedict is saying his last day is at the end of this month (Feb)! Quoting: Rattitatat 11372072 You could be onto something... hmm, so only off by one [no TWO] lunar month...unless you take back that last seven days in december, so that would leave omg feb 21 - 7 days is 14 of february. which we are already watching for the known asteroid 2012 DA14. are we getting too literal here? can someone shed some light, please. 13th baktun also was the return of the mayan god/force that is described in a way that sounds like a comet. i feel like i'm in the wrong thread, after all this is about why josef ratzinger is signing [off] now, ahead of easter. that is about all the smoke i need to see from him. he's sending all of his love in that action, all of his hope for humanity. Anonymous Coward User ID: 25676821 United States 02/11/2013 01:17 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Pope Benedict is Resigning, a First in 600 Years!!! Quoting: Rattitatat 11372072 And here's where it gets weirder. . . . . . Pope Gregory changed the new year to January1st instead of March 1st back in the 1,500s. This means the new year hasn’t actually started yet. It also means the Mayan end date of the 13th baktun could be on March 1st which is the day after Benedict is saying his last day is at the end of this month (Feb)! But wait it gets better! Remember how satanists (the pope, British royals and the global elite) love the number 13? Well, the new year that’s coming is the end of a 5,125 year waiting spell called the long count which results in the date of 13.0.0.0.0 !!! Another weird thing is that his announcement happened while I was editing a section in a new book about Saint Malachy predicting Benedict would be the 2nd to the last pope (ever!). He said the last pope would be "Peter the Roman". Check out the aforementioned section of the new book here; [link to www.theeverythingpages.org] It's a sequel to the original which is available for FREE download here; [link to www.theeverythingpages.org] 2.8.13.pdf Enjoy the revelations of your awakening! Anonymous Coward User ID: 30120084 United States 02/11/2013 01:29 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Still, as Reuters notes, that doesn't necessarily preclude cardinals from outside the continent and, in fact, there have been a few suggestions that perhaps the church is ready to look elsewhere. Two recent remarks from senior officials at the Vatican have indicated that the next pope could be from Latin America or Africa, which would make sense given their plurality in the world Catholic population. Archbishop Gerhard Mueller has said publicly that he "know a lot of bishops and cardinals from Latin America who could take responsibility for the universal Church," while Swiss Cardinal Kurt Koch told a Zurich paper that it "would be good if there were candidates from Africa or South America at the next conclave," adding that he'd pick a non-European over a European candidate if the two were equally qualified.
