I am so shocked by this news...and yet, with that:

When Pope John Paul died and they elected Benedict, he was old to begin with, so you knew that he wouldn't last very long. My parents are in their mid to late 80's...I see how frail they are and this was just a no-brainer.

It's all orchastrated but for what purpose? Who will be the next pope and when? And, interesting that it is now--right before Easter...not an accident. Even last year (as someone else posted) this was being talked about - the current pope stepping down.

Still, it's still so shocking because we are seeing so many things (major things) happen in the last 10 years or so. Epic earthquakes, tsunamis, Massive tornadoes, snow storms...9/11...etc.

I agree with posters that say something wicked comes this way. I honestly don't think any amount of prepping can prepare us for the doom that's coming. Get right with God.

I'm going to ponder all of this while I paint the bathroom!
