I've had this discussion with catholics in real life. They don't have a clue what their own religion is even about or its origins. I here ya. I grew up Catholic and have been pointing out all of these things to my parents for years but they will not wake up. I am convinced it is a form of spiritual deception. It is sort of like arguing with a zombie.
