And the last British pope came at a time when its economy depended on wool and people lived in mud huts, fearing the local warlord. - Popes are also chosen frmo countries NOT at civil war etc, but have some degree of stability. Ghana, despite its dictatorship, is one of the stablest regimes in Africa. - There is a HUGE demand for a Black Pope and one from the 3rd World. Some pretty good points... |
