Several civilians have been wounded due to a blast at the Cilvegözü border gate in the southern province of Hatay's Reyhanlı district, Doğan news agency has reported.

Numerous paramedics were reportedly dispatched to the scene, where both Turks and Syrians have been reported injured.

The blast occurred due to a mortar fired from Syrian territory, reports claimed.
