It can also be linked to the seagull which attacked the white dove of peace released by the Pope on January 28th, 2013.It was a major symbol on its own and now we're faced with Pope's decision resign. This and the 8.0 quake in the Santa Cruz islands are not a good omen.

Popes come and go. Earthquakes happen. And yeah, seagulls can be predators.

Still no pattern here...

A pattern might not be the right word.I believe that big geological events are signs which correlate with events from our world in a mysterious way. Basically, the Santa Cruz quake preluded the Pope's resignation, and the dove of peace being attacked could be a sign of war.

I'm still shocked. This is nearly unheard of! Its only happened something like 3 times in history and the last was like 1400.

I just don't know how to feel about it. I don't feel good about it thats for sure.

I found this link [link to en.wikipedia.org]

It has only happened 3 times. The last time was actually 1415.

There is just something strange about it.

seagull

water bird

water/air

aquarius

dove. symbol of the holy spirit in christianity, judaism and paganism...

the seagull snatched the dove from the guy with the fish hat.

now the pope's resigning. he isn't necessary anymore.

pisces to aquarius.

no big deal. just has to happen. signs of the times.

Popes don't quit my friend, they are till dying. This is an absolute weird move. There are besides several other weird facts going, not only seismicity, weather patterns, animal mass death....but for example: big countries moving their gold in, from Usa and other classic safe box...weir weird this

Re: The Santa Cruz major earthquake and the Pope's resignation
then of course there's the fact that the earthquakes are in santa cruz.

santa cruz means holy cross.

tsunami's in soloman islands.

soloman = sun o' man or son of man. son of man is an old jewish idiom meaning 'all of humanity'.

pretty sure the pope knows this..

and, it's been said:

[link to www.biblegateway.com]

45 “Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom the master has put in charge of the servants in his household to give them their food at the proper time? 46 It will be good for that servant whose master finds him doing so when he returns. 47 Truly I tell you, he will put him in charge of all his possessions. 48 But suppose that servant is wicked and says to himself, ‘My master is staying away a long time,’ 49 and he then begins to beat his fellow servants and to eat and drink with drunkards. 50 The master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he is not aware of. 51 He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the hypocrites, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
 Quoting: Matthew 24

do you think the catholic church has done a good job running the world?

If his resignation has some importance, it probably has something to with the church. Not impending catastrophic doom.
