There is a documentary that just began showing on HBO in the past few weeks that says EVERY accusation of abuse by Catholic priests was funneled directly to Ratzinger's office prior to his becoming Pope. I can recommend watching the documentary which probably represents only the tip of an iceberg. He was guilty of great evil and a seeming willingness to allow children to be victimized by his unwillingness to admit that the church was sheltering pedophiles. |
