i wonder how south korea can know if a nuclear test is aimed at them, because they said they will strike if there are signs of an imminent nuclear test aimed at them

Wll you really can't aim a test, as it is underground.I would very much doubt they would target anything in Korea.

If they had a flyable nuke it would most certainly be aimed at Japan.
