vitamin k2

viamin k2 will thicken the blood, if they want thick blood then stop the blood thinners. You must have a blood test every month, they prick your finger to test how thin your blood is, they will than adjust the dose. I hope this helps

I don't believe he is getting checked regularly by his GP. I personally think his doctor is a quack. My step father had lost a lot of weight from the time he had the heart attacks and yet his doctor still hasn't reduced or removed his medication he is on.

I think this is what Brief had in mind when he gave his advice. That's his usual MO...if people are stupid enough to believe it and do it, well, they can just take the consequences!

Re: People on Blood Thinners
Crazy mama...thank you for your condolences. My Dad, too, he lost weight and drank, which thins blood. He ate healthy, very little fat. He was too skinny. Those blood checks are key! Sure, there are people on top of their meds, but we all know those stubborn people in our lives, lol. He is lucky to have you and you're not paranoid. grouphug

coumodine and warfarin are rat poison. they make rats bleed internally to death. Sounds like a comspiracy to me.

Warfarin is the trade name of coumadin, and yes, it's made of rat poison, which is why it's so carefully monitored. It's been around for 60 years so I'd say it's safe for humans when carefully monitored. I've been on it for 10 years. If I cut myself, I don't bleed much so my doseage is perfect for me. People who know nothing about coumadin should not make accusations or predictions.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 24392638

Actually rat poison is both pelletized in concentrated amounts for a rat to ingest and bleed internaly till dead.

If your on the rat poison you have to have monthly, weekly INR blood samples to keep the level between 3 and 4.

If you eat greens or vegetables that produces vitamin K in the body and that throws off the INR levels and makes you toxic for bleeding episodes.

Using these two do something with the liver production and are filtered by the kidneys and may cause some problems.

Pradaxa is filtered differently and thins the blood not by liver altering methods.

Some people react differently to either products when used.

Re: People on Blood Thinners
super glue. A buddy of mine tore open his jaw and just super glued it back together. Now there's a tiny line of a scar. He did a really good job. He did it while on duty as a sheriff. Rather than get time off and all the crap they put you through, he just took care of business.
