Second - those who beleive feel helpless and have no clue how to put a stop to it. Third - government is so corrupt that it is next to impossible to fix what is wrong when what is wrong are corrupt elected individuals who don't put a stop to this shit. Forth, there are crap stories floating around, so it is hard to distinguish fact from fiction. There is never any debate about the integrity of the elections over here because: 1. You do not register to vote. Everybody is in the population register and gets a card in the mail. 2. You have to bring in the voter card and show a government provided photo id when voting. 3. Votes are counted in the presence of people of different political parties. It is not that difficult to get it right.
