So your dream of everyone doing this simply isn't going to happen. Everyone should not do this-- But neighborhoods, cities etc should. Start with city state county vehicles--after all they run off of our tax dollars. Then, make local gov gas stations-tax goes to fed, sales rev goes to local gov and bingo its win win all around. Unless you are Exxon. |

Quoting: FHL(C) nli 34210765 He calls himself MrTeslonian. The process in the video is several stages from previous videos he put together. Pyrolysis(gasification/cracking of hydrocarbon stock) Bio-crude collection(condensing the gasses) Filtering syn-gas(producer gas butane, methane and propane from pyrolysis). Refinement of bio-crude(cracking/catalytic processing/collection) Running the whole system with a high efficiency gasifying stove. |
Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 1018225 United States 02/12/2013 11:08 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | This is the best home made refinery I have ever seen. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1018225 This guy is producing syn-gas cracking and producing bio crude all at the same time. Making gasoline, diesel and paraffin with wood and cow pies but waste oil, plastic, food, algae or any other hydrocarbon works the same way with slight adjustments to catalysts for optimization. the was a western australian many years ago that had a wood burning car.. i wonder if he was onto the same thing.... The same guy set up a old Chevy luv truck to run on a gassifier its on his channel. |

The hemp still needs processed to a liquid and this method with some refinements could be very efficient. |

Farmers before prohibition had alcohol stills on nearly every farm. Home alcohol production was so enormous world wide there was an expo in Paris in 1901 which demonstrated all of the tasks alcohol could perform from lighting to engines. Henry Ford seeking success for the model T built it as a flex fuel vehicle that could run on the common alcohol or exotic gasoline. Street lamps were powered by producer gas from the city dump before electricity was popular. If they could do it then, we can do it now. |

Economies would collapse.People would die in the millions...but you could use them for fuel yippie. Energy is vital-but you can use this in a semi decentralized manner as I stated above. You cannot have everyone doing this in their backyard or garage. |
