The problem OP, is that there are so many egotistical Nobody claimants on GLP now, the meme has become useless. It has become a farce.

Probably exactly where they wanted it to head to keep the real Nobody from exposing himself to soon. If the Nobody even exists. Just using common sense. Nothing more offsetting than...

Sorry, the truth is a little more impersonal than what many will expect. But as I said, there is power in numbers, and power in prayer (to whomever as long as its heartfelt and genuine).
My guess is the only job nobody needs to do is give a gentle nudge to those on the "fence". It's that simple.

The nobody is called the nobody because "nobody" does what they do. Nobody is supposed to do what they do. Most are trapped by common "logic"; nobody transcended "logic" at a young age. That's why the feats seem "impossible"; nobody chose to live here, yet not play in the constructs of the sandbox.

I think you're right, we where programmed as kids to be handicapped in our extra sensory registry - we can't know what we REALLY register, and the brain sort is under mysteries instead... it's a difficult issue as if one where to ask around, the blind will say "you can't see that, it's imagination". So, it's dangerous to see too much.

I'm not sure they really do. There aren't many that claim he would be the Second Coming of Christ to be a savior of their souls.

Most Christians on GLP would view 'him' as antithesis to their ideal, IMO.

Most normal GLP posters would look at him as someone finally having the power to stand up to things greater than themselves. Therein lies the power of the meme.

The only reason say people look at the nobody as a messiah figure is because of the large number of "Why doesn't the nobody do this" threads or "why hasn't the nobody done that yet" threads or "why hasn't the nobody revealed themselves" threads. I wish more saw it from your point of view however

Exactly. What we're kind of alluding to is the "veil".
Everything has a purpose though; people would not have grown without it.
It's almost the time for reflection.
Trust me, you're going to miss it when its all over.
Yea it's kinda fucked up here, but this is the most interesting place in our neck of the woods.
We all have days we enjoy, some others we don't. That's what it's all about. The lesson to learn now, is how to enjoy EVERY day that "god" has gave us.

That is just the newer posters, IMO. Most of the older ones look at it as an Underdog story. As it evolved, many came to the conclusion that the only way the Underdog could do all that the meme was saying, was to be in touch with God, as if God is a personality that is interested solely in Earth.

I understand that, knowing the things that I know now, so it is probably expected.

Even God has a God. The universe is much bigger than this pale blue dot. But, being immersed within the human condition places blinders on our vision, as the veil is opaque and substantial in its effect.

It is easier than people think, yet more difficult at the same time. We are taught that we are all that is. And our spiritual selves aren't even thrown into the mix. We are beautiful, creative, incredible. To look outside our place in the universe is to be humble. But, since most will never experience themselves out of this human biological construct, we are isolated to view ourselves, as our self.
