I started following the site a while back because every now and again there are some great nuggets of information. However, for the most part, sifting through the posts looking for those nuggets gets mind numbing. So many people saying one thing and then there's a post immediately after saying something else. Especially when it comes to DOOM! People will jump on anything when the truth is the world will probably be taken over without firing a single shot.

OP, I understand what you are saying and where you are coming from. Some of us do indeed know all, but sadly I cannot tell you anything that you haven't already heard....and this protects us from a fate much worse than death. Much of what you have read on the Net, including GLP have scratched the surface of the truth. Quantum Physics, the Electric Universe/Holographic Universe, Intelligent races by the thousands in our Universe and other realities, the origins of mankind, the true and factual length of mankinds history....these and many many more beautiful, frightening, and mind blowing truths have been revealed many times over. My bet advice for you, is to look at repeated patterns of information that are mirrored over and over again by others.....these are your truths without doubt...this is the "Da Vinci" method of spreading the truth.....

Yes the gullibility factor and inability to tell the truth from fiction can be quite astounding. However you are correct in the fact that there are some interesting tidbits of info on here, as well as some interesting and intellectual posters.

True....many of the posts are pure entertainment and the "wackos" as was mentioned. However, the mainstream media only goes so far. They shield us from a lot! Tiresome to hear the same recycled crap everyday. At least in forums like these you get a variety of perspectives and people chime in globally. You laugh when needed and try to piece together common threads in the process. Just my opinion of course.

The world may very well go to shit in so many different ways at once or within a short time span, so how could a person seeing it from an outside perspective ever be able to form it into 200 words?

My less than 200 words:
What we humans are is the frog slowly being boiled from cold water in a pot. this has been mentioned a lot and I think it fits the entire scenario the best.

As far as the frog reference I recommend everyone watch the movie 'Manda Bala' A movie that changed my perspective of life. I watched it 6 years ago when I was 23. Kind of woke me up.
