To camo or not to camo....that is the question! So what will you be wearing wshtf or wrol?

Camo won't let you blend in urban or suburban environments. Wear street clothes in neutral colors like dull green, brown or gray. Baseball caps have sharp edges and make one easy to spot in the woods. Same goes for wearing black - you'll be too dark.

Black sticks out like a soar thumb in the woods. Better to have camo in the woods. You tards best stay off the streets...

I will wear Civilian Clothing.

But with subdued earth tone colors.

I will only wear Camo during a SHTF - WROL situation if iam executing an Ambush.

You should watch the show called Mantracker.


Mantracker is all about finding people who escape into the woods.


Camo will be of no real use in those situations.

It is much easier to spot a moving target that contrast the background.

Camo works better the farther you get away from it. The idea is to slow identification as a target.

Wearing a red ball cap? I dont care if your are moving or not...if you are withing 300 yds I can see you.

Camo at 300, much better chance of evading ID as a target.

Like anything Camo is a tool, not a miracle. If you don't know how to make use of camo it's useless.

I would advise a good understanding of movement, light and noise discipline.

Shorts and a t shirt, maybe a hoodie for cold days.

Note to the scouts: a moving target will appear in your peripheral vision better than watching for something. Move your point of view and stare at an object (don't move your sight around) and if something moves, your off center vision will pick it up. If your view is moving, this trick doesn't work. Change your sight window every few seconds to cover the entire field of view.

Remember that knat buzzing around you can see until you try to look for it? Same concept...

Want to be avoided? Put on glasses, shave a strip down the middle of your head, walk kind of funny, and roll up your pants legs while pulling your socks way up. Completely dork it up/crazy. Regular people will actively avoid you, and military types will point and laugh at you but not see you as any type of threat. Keep aware, put lower your head and just keep walking. Only threat in this case is mil-bully types that could see you as an easy target. They would want to get you in a secluded area to mess with you though for fear of public backlash, so odds are in your favor.

Because they are idiots. They are putting their face out there for other people to recognize them as preppers. All so they can feel important. Urban camo is to dress like a hobo. Make it look like you have nothing and people will not try and take anything. Make it look like you have kids if you are not a parent and they what ever oppressive force will less likely just hose the place down before entering. It is all about misdirection. Trust me people always take a double take, especially when there is a side arm on your hip!

It's always best to "blend" in.... Remember you do not want to be a threat until its to late for your enemy to classify you as one;)

I prefer going commando, but
