Anonymous Coward User ID: 14524586 United States 02/12/2013 06:04 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Nuclear test was in response to sanctions from a missile test. Sanctions from a nuclear test and you get a nuke and missile combo test (not together I hope.) Quoting: Anonymous Coward 14524586 What comes after sanctions from a nuke and missile test? The only areas that have not been sanctioned as of yet are businesses tied to China. It will be interesting to see what China does at the UNSC meeting. |

The only thing left now is when and who/what/where/how. Quoting: Lu 34224775 When Not too early to receive historical condemnation for not giving diplomacy a chance. Not too early as to not receive help from critical others. Not too late as to allow the enemy excessive time to prepare their offense and defense. Then why didn't WW3 start from their previous two nuke tests?? You missed the part labeled 'when' ... |

But at the same time the people starving be because of there hard stance. I wish the could let everything and become one country with south. Putting energy and money on military might instead of food is no respect from me I'm sorry to tell you this but it was the US that broke off talks with N.K, the US then imposed heavy sanctions which led them to this new bout of nuclear tests, N.K was willing to compromise but the US demands where pretty much the surrender of N.K. Most korean people would like to see their country united and many families reunited, but S. korea is a US puppet and as long as the puppet master pulls the strings there will be no resolution. don't believe everything the MSM tell you. I here what you say, but there is no economic interests in NK, so they want do anything to this problem. There negotiation has been going on for so long, and trust me, I'm not a fan of US policy. But the regime in NK doesn't give a shit about there people. And they need to change there behaviour and smell the reality. |

Not too late as to allow the enemy excessive time to prepare their offense and defense. please read this, no WW3 just yet, we haven't reached the tipping point just yet. You might have to wait until the islamic nations coalition comes into full effect, then maybe something may happen, but all the key ingredients are there just need to mature a little while longer. not sure if its been mentioned but it was a 10 kiloton test, there largest to date. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 33320727 I know some of you doomtards are worried but don't have a stroke just yet, this is just N. korea getting back at the US and their S. korean puppets for the breakdown in talks and refusal to lift sanctions. N. korea is not going to go to war without the nod and wink from big brother China. Also just need to point out that next total war conflict (World War) is highly unlikely to involve nuclear weapons. For pretty much the same reason chemical weapons were not used in the last one, even though they were considered such a threat that the UK government at the time issued every man, woman and child with gas masks. But the fact remains no one was willing to be the first to open pandoras box. Only when a country has a weapon that none of his rivals posses, would said weapon be used. Its no fun if your enemies can retaliate in like. Ask your self would the US have dropped the A-bomb if Japan possessed the ability to retaliate in a similar fashion? |
OCD Chaos Theorist User ID: 29524680 United States 02/12/2013 06:10 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | SEOUL, Feb. 12 (Yonhap) -- North Korea may conduct an additional nuclear test and launch a long-range missile if the United Nations moves to penalize it for its third nuclear test, Seoul's spy agency said Tuesday. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 34228368 This is getting ridiculous !! What will it lead to?!! Isn't it obvious? :-/ Come on !! They may be stupid sometime, but not suicidal !! Yeah a lot of this saber rattling, posturing, and general vagary looks a lot like 'look at the monkey' tactics. While everyone is wringing their hands worrying about what, North Korea is up to; the important pieces are being put into play. They're all in cahoots I think. I wish I had more time so I could do even less. |

Yeah I agree to that the regime agenda does not put the common person first, but in that way they are no different from any western government in that respect, its just our governments are slightly more subtle in their methods. I would recommend watching the breaking the set special on N.K and the history of the conflict, it shows how both N.K and S.K are just puppets of two different nations who won't publicly oppose each other. Not mention the strategic value of S.K to the US in case of a total war scenario. |

IMO military both. NK consider sanctions as threat, they have launched this test in response to the last sanctions. this test was a trap for an escalation. |
