Unemployed people forced to do 'voluntary' work for no pay - now ruled illegal by court in UK!

Walmart has a deal with our government, where he does something of that nature.

What it all actually boils down to is: you and i are paying Walmart's employees' wages, then he sticks our hard-earned money in his slimy pocket.

It's not unpaid, you get your dole ie. other peoples money.

YAAAY!!!! Nobody should be able to do voluntary work...free work isnt fair. Even oldies should get an increase in finances for not just sitting around.

A couple of years ago I was sent to a small printing company in a nearby town as part of a work experience scheme, (even though I'm in my 50's, and have had a previous long term job)and the director of this place was onto a bit of a scam really....there were 12 people working there, but 5 of them were on the same program as myself, so he was getting free labour from half of his workforce!
Anyway, I didn't get the 'job', as I couldn't type with both hands, which the task required.

A fair days wage for a fair days work.
There is a minimum wage in the UK - in law.....so how can the government get away by pushing people into jobs where the minimum wage doesn't apply!!??
Isn't the government breaking the law of the land by not making sure these unemployed people aren't paid the minimum wage?

Yes it is unpaid, because the government creates the economic conditions of the country, and so any government of the day is obliged to pay UNEMPLOYMENT benefits to out of work people.
Thats not a wage, its a statutory obligation on the part of any countries government, and stops civil disorder from breaking out!
