my name is 905 User ID: 34237161 South Africa 02/12/2013 09:46 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The only danger is a attack on Seoul. Quoting: Limpan They can do some damage there. But after that its game over, so this is only talk. Yeah. They can make a mess of Seoul, but they know that if they do they'll get fucked over. Yes, their army is huge, but 1) I can't imagine morale is brilliant, 2) Human wave tactics failed (eventually) the first time round and 3) their technology is 1970s at the absolute best. Which means that most of the Nork's army is immune to EMP and could continue even if everybody else is disabled...hmmmmmmmmm...... |

It's quite obvious now they are developing a nuclear bomb... Quoting: Anonymous Coward 14505884 The problem isn't N Korea... It's getting permission from China to give the land to S Korea and Japan should we decide to take the 15 minutes to go in and "clean house". |

Once it starts, it's going to be hard to stop the consequences |

Let me guess...North Korea should trust western nations and stop his nuclear programm just like Kaddafi did in Lybia and this will end well...oh wait... yeah always so hypocritic about this, quiz question... who has been the only country to use a NUCLEAR WEAPON against a CIVILIAN population??? Who are the good guys ??? Only the bad guys with the big bombs want to have all the power and they dont want anyone to challenge their agenda, else they invade illegally like Iraq and Afganistan... what a joke |

recollector User ID: 26964049 United Kingdom 02/12/2013 10:21 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | ... Quoting: Limpan You nailed it!!! The noise is about showing the world stand united against states making nuclear weapons. It's a message to Iran. So many people that don't GET IT. Let's assume it's only Seoul and they don't bomb Tokyo.Once the Seoul is bombed , that means WAR between SK and NK, a war that will STOP SK to import, assuming this war is izolated to the peninsula. Japan will imediately lose 8% of their total exports.China, as an NK ally, only needs to stop importing from SK (this doesn't constitue an act of war) and Japan (they will give lame reasons, but still). What you got after this? Right, economic meltdown .Both Japan and SK , in order to conservate their purchasing power, will STOP buying Euro and US bonds. Once that happends, the world will be in such a mess, that NOBODY will go to war over NK and SK. You don't NEED A WORLD WAR to fuck up the world economy.Only need NK to bomb Seoul and China to stop imports from Japan and SK. Just remember NK has the fourth largest Army in the world with over 1 million soldiers while its neighbor S korea has roughly about 600,000 troops. US also has a contingent of 30,000 military personal stationed in SK and is obligated to protect SK in case of an attack. Although NK is technologicaly inferior to SK and the US its will to fight is not. The NK military is very well trained and disciplined and many experts predict they would fight to death such as the Japanese did in WW2. NK spends a vast amount of its GDP on weapons and its military and has nearly 10,000 hidden artillery pieces pointed at Seoul.NK has also been preparing for an invasion by the US and SK for decades and they have built many hidden bunkers and and underground tunnels underneath the DMZ in preparation for an attack. Not to mention that NK is believed to have a small contingent of Nuclear weapons which it could detonate in SK, Japan, or any other country it sees fit. SK which has the 12th largest economy in the would would be brought to its knees. Millions of Korean refugees would try to enter China, the world economy would take a huge hit and oil prices would most definitely sky rocket. There would be utter destruction and chaos on both sides of the peninsula. The Korean War had roughly 3 million deaths which is astronomical. Couple that with today's modern weapons and you could easily get a number 3-5 times that. There have been many reports that in the event of a North/South Korean war the US would use low yield nuclear weapons. Another factor in play is what China's repose would be. Despite economic reforms China has been an Allie of NK for decades. Although the US and SK would eventually win, China could most certainly be wary of expanded US influence along its border and might very well intervene on NK's behalf. Lets just hope that it does not happen! :) I've talked with several of our guys stationed there over the years. Each one to a man told me that if North Korea ever came storming over that line, they figured they were all dead. Are you a moran , a professional lier or the guys you talked to never seen the NK/SK border? Just be a sport and look up on NK/SK border MODIFICATIONS by both sides. Storming? LOL ! NOT that border !!! |

The Nuclear Armed Powers are counting their paces. They don't all want distractions in their peripherial, Some sot from the side-lines, with bias and a personal vendetta, taking cover behind the watering trough, thinks to make a mark and pick somebody off, as the outlaw gangs turn to face each other and the fireing begins. |
