Usually when dealing with mankind, our CREATOR is much more subtle than this. Apparently due to the lateness of the hour in history and the fact that subtlety doesn't seem to work on us very well - it would seem that our CREATOR has shifted to much more direct and almost blatant messages.

It is almost as if we've missed the more subtle and more gentle messages. So maybe this lightening strike on St. Peters will get the attention of the world. With our modern tech, the image of this AMAZINGLY POWERFUL LIGHTENING STRIKE was flashed around the world within seconds of it having taken place in Rome.

I surely seems to me that GOD is calling our attention to the happenings at ST Peters and at the Vatican as a whole. Strange, but extremely effective. Now the question that comes to mind is WHY? What are we supposed to be aware of? What is happening there beyond the publicly released information that has now hit every wire service and new outlet on the planet? The pope is stepping down because of his failing health. The stress of dealing with the myriad of child abuse cases and the cover-up and hiding of crimes (including not just rape but torture and murder of innocent children for hundreds of years back in the churches history) surely is causing the pope great stress and pain and more than a little bit of guilt over his role in the more recent cases. Perhaps he doesn't want to be in office or alive when the full extent of his personal knowledge and involvement becomes public knowledge? Who knows what evil machinations may be going on behind those walls that surround the Vatican?

Maybe the cardinals wanted something from him and he said f...you... He surprised them with his decision...

Well, for the sake of perspective (true story) lightening struck my brother's chimney not once but TWICE within 6 weeks. The second time right after he repaired the brickwork on his chimney.

i get that the bible has good morals, but we dont live in the time it was written. and with current edits.. how can ANYONE understand it enough to take it literal. When Moses asked God at the burning bush what His name was so he could tell the people, God replied “Yahweh” which to the best of my understanding would be something like “I am He who is eternal and never changes from micro second to micro second”. My emphasis. The time when it was written, actually over a bunch of years has no relevance. God does not change and since He is not subject to time and He sees all and knows all the word does not change. This is really loaded with a lot of bad history on your part. The stain is the blood of many who gave their lives for Christ as He gave His for us. The world is an evil place currently ruled by the most evil one in the creation. The inquisition were not holy men of God but self righteous people who were bent on hold their lofty and powerful positions use God, the scriptures, and RELIGION. I have been on your side once. Asked the same questions and made the same erroneous statements. I cannot remember if there was a script or manual that had all of them or does it come naturally when we are in that ’mode’. I admit that I was not gentle in my response to you for several reasons and none of them are valid. So, in that I ask for your forgiveness for that faux pas. I was an agnostic/atheist some 37 years ago when I became a believer. I was also an anthropology major in college, as well. I’ve studied much and also wasted much study time, but as I go one in life I realize how fallen I am and must rely on His mercy and grace and forgiveness.
