Must be TPTB shocking greediness tbh, humanity always fought wars for resources since ancient times, it's just human nature i guess and unfortunately this won't change anytime soon, but with the advance of technology the last 1-2 centuries the few now have a very big leverage on average peoples of this world, wealth distribution is in it's worst analogy since the beginning of time, the food wasted in the so called western world alone, just for the profit of the big multinational corporations, is enough to feed the starving African population many times over for example.
