Quoting: Chrit They want to see how people react. That repuppet is working with the government. I love how the repuppet explains the reasoning behind the drills as a means for the local police to "meet some requirements" and "to help the soldiers prepare for overseas warfare." What a bunch of dicks. I hope the first people thrown into detention camps are the shills who help these tyrants cover up their shenanigans. |

Too bad the dude filming the BH choppers didn't have an AR15 of his own and should've opened fire on them and made the exercise go real time, like those fuckers do to us. Oh like 9/11 or 7/7 tube bombings. Screw them and they're training, it's all complete horseshit and should not be tolerated by you the good people, period. |

But seriously, I live here and nothing happened. We hear gun shots every morning when the Marine recruits are practicing on the firing range at Parris Island, SC. Look it up. It sounds like a faint, distant popping of pop corn. It is actually very comforting to know that you have a bunch of highly trained AMERICANS living in the city. Also, Jasper County and Ridgeland are about as unpopulated as you are going to find. If I owned a farm out in Jasper, I would gladly rent it out for a few days of a Marine unit going out and acting like they are going to blow something up. Hell, I would let them do it for free if they let me fire off a few rounds or blew up an old car I had out back. The moral of this story is that there have been military towns all over the country for years, they train anywhere they can, and they are AMERICANS! There are more armed police men that you should worry about then young Marines about to be sent off on some peacekeeping mission in Zimbabwe. All we can do is prey that they all come back soon and support them while they are here. really, because what I'm seeing is a "simulated" attack by military/police on a civilian population. I'm waiting for the punch line - when they accidently fire live rounds... |
| Anonymous Coward User ID: 33699634 02/12/2013 06:48 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Written by: David Bard on February 6, 2013. Quoting: Laura Bow Last revised by: Michael Caldwell A news article was sent to me earlier this week. It appeared in the Beaufort Gazette. The article stated that later this week about 150 Marines and Navy personnel will hold realistic urban training in Jasper County, South Carolina. This was one of many joint military-local law enforcement exercises that had come to my attention in less than one month. Held in cities across the U.S., they were becoming more common and more intense. But why? Why train in populated towns and cities where accidents could produce unnecessary casualties? The Gazette further reported that the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit will train within Ridgeland town limits. The times and exact locations for the training are not being announced, according to 2nd Lt. Gerard R. Farao. ... I spoke with a high-ranking, military source in DHS. Preferring to remain unnamed for obvious reasons, he told me, “DHS and DOD are conducting desensitizing exercises all across the U.S.,” he paused, then added, “we’re being prepared for mass civil unrest in major U.S. cities. DOD will be expected to help – when we’re requested.” I asked if there was a timeline for expecting civil unrest in our cities and why should we expect it to begin with. I was told that there were many reasons, but that the continued devaluation of our currency, the predicted history-setting prices for gasoline this summer and the continued gun control debate are forming a perfect storm of civil discontent. When this storm hits, it will most assuredly produce mass casualties. When does DHS expect this to happen? This summer. From a high-ranking source deep within DHS, who has strong DOD ties, we are being told that joint DOD-local law enforcement exercises are to desensitize us to military occupation. When asked if there was any concern about violating Posse Comitatus, he stated “no concern at all,” and added, “That’s been a non-issue for a long time.” More at [link to theallegiant.com] when will the citizens begin holding their own "civil defense excercises"? |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 34269906 Its called a militia- very good idea, even mentioned in the Constitution. Military/Police "simulating" attack on civilians is called a "simulated" Coup d'etat I understand that a militia is a 'well formed' civilian brigade... but I am talking about every citizen. Go door to door and ask "what will you do if we are attacked?" 'Are you willing to help? make phone calls? send signals? be a safehouse or an communication center? Can we use your house to help heal anyone who gets hurt?" Not everyone has to be armed. In fact, a proper 'excercise' will be prodominantly recources, health related issues (doctors and nurses), communications (incl jamming equipment), supply lines, generators, fuel, food, etc, etc. Ask each of your neighboors what they will be willing to do. Show them a list of all the services and activites that will be needed and ask them if any suit them. It is foolish to think that just because you and yer buddies have a shitload of bullets that you have any chance whatsoever, especially against what will be a highly stragetic and well organized attack. You may think your attackers are fools, but underestimating your enemy would be fatal. Anyone who knows anything about guerilla warfare will tell you that 90% of the battle is won or lost NOT on the front lines, but behind the front. |

Military/Police "simulating" attack on civilians is called a "simulated" Coup d'etat Do you want to be a fucking domestic terrorist?!!! The domestic and militaristic terrorists are within our government. Citizens defending themselves and families, their property, their towns, cities, and Constitution, are not terrorists. They are the first peaceful line of pushback and the last line of defense. I would suggest pushing back very hard by the millions to our reps in Congress. Pressure, pressure, pressure. If that is unsucessful, then hopefully the citizenry can instill fear into the government. What really needs to happen is to cull the numbers of government employees starting with the disbanding of DHS. If all they have to do with their time is find ways to attack the citizens of the country, it's time to shut then down. |
