This is a spiritual symbolism and NOT literal, I repeat NOT literal. Woman or women in the bible is symbolic of the church systems, which includes all religions. Hair is symbolic of a covering (Christ is supposed to be our covering). But these devouring insects are religious, falsely indoctrinated people who have a form of religion and a covering of the beast system. They are sent out in hoards to falsely accuse, lie, and try to ruin the testimony of Christ inside the true believers who refuse to back down from the truth. They can sting the emotions, but they can't hurt the truth that dwells inside the temple (true believers).

That has always made me go huh? too. I have often wondered if they weren't robotic type animals such as the spy animals etc but bigger with more powers?

A vision from a dear friend that she recorded back in march, 2012. She saw the pope handing over the keys.

Revelation 9:1-12 "The fifth angel sounded his trumpet, and I saw a star that had fallen from the sky to the earth. The star was given the key to the shaft of the Abyss. When he opened the Abyss, smoke rose from it like the smoke from a gigantic furnace. The sun and sky were darkened by the smoke from the Abyss. And out of the smoke locusts came down on the earth and were given power like that of scorpions of the earth. Any idea exactly WHAT these locusts are? Aliens? Planes and helicopters as in war?

Whatever it is.......it ain't good!!

Get your relationship with Jesus right, time is short! The locusts can't hurt you if you have the seal of God on your forehead.

If you haven't repented and asked forgiveness for your sins through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, you better start thinking about it NOW!

I respectfully disagree. I think the Bible is pretty well written with some spiritual symbolism but mostly literal. I think a lot of prophetic type situations have to be looked at knowing that the person who is seeing the future has no idea what they are seeing so have to describe things in relation to things they are familiar with. Birds without wings/planes, horses without carriages/cars etc etc etc.

Interesting thread. Might seem very strange but; Personally i remember a thing related to the sting and the human-like face. I was attacked by something during the sleep. It started to appear in the mist of the wall - like started to materialize and I was able to see it being somehow outside of my body but still in the room. I wanted to scream and wake up but was unable to do it. It (dark mist ?) started to enter into me and sting me like trying to suck something. I was unable to move, only feeling pain and darkness in my soul. The only thing which I was able to think was Jesus and it was the only thing which had worked in getting rid of this parasite. When it was gone I finally started to scream like hell after being freed but managed to go back from the sleep after like 1 min scream in the dream. I woke up and went directly to the standing position, and screaming continued in the real world. Why I write this here under the locusts topic is the fact that if this thing had hold of me for more than the short time in my dream then I truly would wish for death and could not find it.

I once believed in Jesus on the cross as a blood sacrifice for our sins, was raised from a child to believe it. When I grew up I started praying and reading revelation asking for the truth, whatever it might be.
It was more of a shocker than I had anticipated. That the story of Jesus hung on a cross was made up to lead people, even the elect astray. That the lie had already been firmly established in the church and it was time to wake up.

At that point I had to take a leap of faith and trust that God wouldn't lead me along the wrong path because I was searching with my heart with faith and trust, putting aside my fear.

I now believe more along the lines that the church doctrine does nothing but take away a persons ability/accountability to work on their personal path.
It makes people believe they are unworthy/unable to change themselves or their world.
Now, reading what you just talked about with the churches and charkra hit a chord with me. Is there some place on the net or some book where I might read about this?

You all should note none of the other interpretations try to take into account the thunderous hoof beats as if of thousands of horses. Helicopters are a perfect match.

No harm to God's people while they attack for 5 months? Given the narrow path that would exclude almost everybody and in Bible time 5 months would be about 150 years. Since its invention we would only have how many years left to go? Inquiring minds want to know!

Lisa, i have seen these creatures, they stand on their feet and walk around. they have real tails just like the little scorpions. these guys stand about 6 ft tall, their tails looked to be five or six ft. in length also. total black in color with long black hair over their entire body, on their chest they have a chest plate make of what looked like harden bone which was black also.

when i seen them they were taken their instruction of who and what to do. they were told to only sting those who had the mark of the beast, i believe i have this right as to the instruction, i was a afraid and watched with great fear.
