You can buy more than one at a time and although most gun sales are through official FFL dealers, family and friends aren't counted in that number. Gun sales have doubled from 2008 to 2012 and it's all because progressive liberal rhetoric is being taken seriously. I guess they really are that stupid. They think gun free zones will reduce violent crime (it doesn't) so using the same faulty logic, they must be able to ignore reality and think talking about new gun rights infringement laws and arming the DHS to the teeth will reduce gun sales and ownership. Friggin progressive liberal idiots. Ya just gotta laugh.  Register, What they DONT get, is that the American people are arming themselves at the highest rate in history, NOT to turn in their guns to the Government, but to resist in the only way a tyrannical government can understand. The force of weapons brought to bear on THEM! The American people are arming themselves for battle. Let us hope that the left understands the implications of this.
