Passengers describe harsh conditions on Carnival ship
Technicians on the Carnival Triumph have been able to restore some power to the ship's Lido buffet, allowing for hot coffee and limited hot food service, Carnival says in a new statement. Power also has been restored to a limited number of elevators on the ship, making it easier for passengers to move around the vessel. As of late morning, public and cabin toilets are working in some areas of the ship, the line adds.

Carnival also says the Carnival Triumph has enough supplies on hand to last until it can be towed to port. The line says passengers will be flown home from Mexico on chartered aircraft that is in the process of being arranged.

They are being towed to Alabama now not Mexico. Airfare was going to cost to much. Now 3 more days rather then 1

This article (below) says otherwise. Media reports vary all the time, I guess:

"Carnival initially planned to tow the ship to Progreso, Mexico, but strong currents that pushed it 90 miles north by Monday night prompted the decision to move the ship to Mobile instead. The change also made it easier on the 900 passengers who don't have passports, the cruise line said.

Passengers will get a free flight home, a full refund for their trip and most expenses aboard, and a credit for another cruise, Carnival said."

You work 40 years and get old and in pain and then talk.I climbed mountains and skateboarded until I was 41, if I could still do it I would.

This is the same carnival ship hoagland did his tour on a couple a months ago. Hoagland had some problems than and now with this.
