This is great because I already have made up a fictional clothing line with animals as the symbols for teens, adults and children. The clothing store name is called "Kin" and Kin means family which is why the clothing store is family orientated. I have created several banners for this projects and posters. The symbol for the adults would be a bear, giraffe for teens and baby chicken for the children. You can check it out here at my page;

B-ware is good.
B stand for bear.
And beware of the bear is a logic assumption.
And beware of wear your clothing...
because it is damn good & dangerous addictive!
Now, the logo could be something like this:
[link to logos.co]
but inverted and just showing 1/4 of the bear face

B-Wear ?

btw, maybe you want to make sure your company name is also portrayalble in a logo.
many companys have pictograms as logo which mirror their name and vice versa.
company logo and pictogram go together, that´s why it is so expensive to create one and specialists are hired for doing this.

Yes, B-Ware! With a Honey badger logo!

Dear OP:

This is a friggin' BRILLIANT idea!

I do not know if you know what a "market research" firm would charge you for creation of a logo and "corporate image" name, etc.

But it would be in the tens of thousands of dollars and possibly more!! That would include filing it as a registered trademark internationally and in the US (but that only costs a few hundred to do so it's not like it's something you cannot possibly do for yourself...)

Anyway with the creative minds here on GLP I would guess that you are going to get several truly great possibilities to choose from.

This is and was an Absolutely a great idea.

Maybe (if you're feeling generous) after you've made some serious money with your new line - you'll consider sending the "logo finder" person a nice bonus check when you can afford to do so. Those little "touches of class" are often the things that corporate reputations are made out of!

Best of luck with your venture. And my hat's off to you for the great idea of turning this massive creative talent loose on your behalf! You're sure to find a winner or several!

 Quoting: a penguin

Cheap ass crowdsourcing tactics, this is why you cant find a paying gig or a good designer on craigslist any more.

This bullshit is at epidemic levels, instead of paying for design work that is obviously both useful and monetarily valuable to them. The trend has been to wave a $100 dollar bill out in front of a group of starving artists and make them fight over it. Because EVERYBODY is doing this, people have no choice but to volunteer for this slavery. Instead of actually paying people a consideration that is in line with the service they expect, a "contest" is held where a large number of designers are asked to submit completed design ideas where the best is chosen and the rest are unpaid. Sometimes even the winner is left unpaid.

I thank god that I had enough skill to rise above this BS and actually get paid for my time. Its disgusting really, contests, internships, portfolio builders, lunch and a metro card are not valid methods of payment for anybody. The upside is that I have never, not even once seen a company that used this deplorable method of exploitation ever become a success. When the owner is this much of a cheapskate the business suffers elsewhere from the same systemic mismanagement.

See folks.. the utter contempt for the trade.. You make my point quite well.

So OP has no appreciation for all you fools who are frying their brain cells for his $100 insult that he'll never hand over to anyone. Can't you see? I thought you guys here were more conscious. If you want to be generous with your time, go work in a soup kitchen or at an animal kill shelter and save some puppies.

It's as if he says, doctors who went to med school for years and reacked up debt, should shut up and work for free...what an a-hole op and you keep slaving away hoping to get $100. Better go sweep the side walk for a day or aide some disabled ppl than fall for this greedy bastard.
