Re: 100$ to whomever can think of logo and name (via PayPal)
I think you're making a mistake. Munsingwear has the penguin, Lacoste has the gator, Lauren has the horse. It's already been done. You pick another animal and all you're going to look like is another cheap knockoff. Pick a reptile and it's a ripoff of Lacoste, pick a mammal and it's a ripoff of Lauren, a bird is a ripoff of Munsingwear. Pick an animal and you're fucked.

You have to set trends in fashion, not follow them. Everything has been done except plants if you want to go the nature route and even Fruit of the Loom has already done that in a sense.

PAWZ
If it for teenagers, or young adults, I think paws is cute, with a puppy paw print.

also, Wingz, or you could even be cooler and do W1ngz, with a 1. and then pick a cool bird to fit your image. Something sexy, sleek, or small and colorful like a lovebird if its for children/teens.

You really need to give us more , who is the clothing for? What demograph are you targeting? What is the style of the clothing? Sexy? Cute? Traditional? Trendy? etc

The logo should be a B with a very small bear image to the right.

Is it a children clothing line?

Which adult would wanna wear clothing with a bear on it?
 Quoting: Psych

Same as an adult who would wear an alligator on it and spend 80$ on a Tshirt. My target audience is preppy college kids and your adults. Such as men in fraternities
 Quoting: a penguin

Okay, just say this. I saw your original post was edited, so I assumed you were to going to keep it updated with relevant info, such as answers to the questions people have. That might not be a bad idea....

If you want to brainstorm, first I would think about what animals you find acceptable. Do a list of all the animals you think MIGHT fit.

Then, compile a list for each animal, of what part of the animal you might want to be the logo. Followed by a list of possible brand names.

You can even specifically list the animals/logos/etc in THIS thread, and go from there. With so many pages of replies, I'm sure you have some ideas by now.

I stand by PAWZ, and W1NGZ, hehe, but I'll think of more.

Some animals I think might be idea:

Tiger
Panther
Birds
Dogs
Snake

You should probably either decide early on in the brainstorming if you want to go with a fairly popular, well known animal , or something exotic.

Jack Nicklaus and grizzly both have bear logos on there shirts. This logo might not work because of the competition will be tough. Geez I gotta figure this out before I leave for china on the 24th to meet with a couple manufacturers

I'm searching google for Animal characteristics in humans. Basically if you are going to use an animal as the logo, you want something people can identify with. Since you are going for more expensive clothing, and for college kids, you probably want to find something not trendy, and not too popular. People like to feel exclusive. You want an animal that is sleek, intelligent, exotic, etc.

Coastal Line "Like a day on the beach." or "Luxury like a vacation." Symbol is lines that look like small waves so it looks like water and a palm tree coming up in the middle behind the wave water. I can draw this up if chosen easy.
