I never thought I would ever fall in love, because I'm so picky. I know exactly what I want and throughout the years I've never found her.

Until one day.. ironically she actually hit on me.

The strong feelings I felt for her from the onset defied logic. I was instantly in love, and scared to death.

Then she tells me, due to culture differences, we can't date for long. Her dad found out about us and was very angry.

Sure enough she kept her word and ended it. I was crushed.

I have to say it is better to have loved and lost. I never thought I would ever fall in love with someone. She conquered my world without even trying, no matter how much I resisted.

That was many years ago. She's ruined all women since. I just can't find that spark again. I've pretty much given up.

She ended up marrying someone of her culture and their kids are gorgeous. I am nothing but ecstatic for her. I wish I had gotten more time with her but at least I can cherish the memories.
