Excellent thread; I've read every page. I have no actual doom to speak of apart from being rendered jobless, carless and homeless (temp. staying at a friends house)

Thing is, I'm now 49 staring the big 5.0 in the face, and I've had girlfriends, been married, had kids, been rich and poor (not as poor as now though) and lost my car due to a bizarre fire incident. Stuff happens in a cyclical fashion.

Do I care? F**K NO!!!
