Being a single parent can be exhausting. My ex worked out of state for many years because of the economy. Not having any extended family made it exceptionally hard. There were times when I would cry alone in my bathroom. It was tough carrying everything on my own. Now he has returned, we are still best of friends and everything is great. Things get easier and there's always a light at the end of the dark tunnel. You just have to believe.
